Effective: 1 July 2026
Updated: 1 July 2026
This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs cancellation, termination, and refund matters relating to subscriptions and services offered by EquityPulse Tech Private Limited through EqtPulse at www.eqtpulse.in.
EquityPulse Tech Private Limited is registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Research Analyst.
SEBI Research Analyst Registration No.: INH000028565
1. Introduction
This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs cancellation, termination, and refund matters relating to subscriptions, research services, platform access, model portfolio access, trading signals, investment recommendations, reports, alerts, dashboards, and other services offered by EquityPulse Tech Private Limited through EqtPulse at www.eqtpulse.in.
By subscribing to or using any EqtPulse service, the user agrees to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
This Policy should be read together with the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Investor Charter, user agreement, subscription terms, Most Important Terms and Conditions, and any applicable service-specific terms.
2. Nature of Subscription Fees
EqtPulse operates on a fixed subscription model.
The subscription fee is charged for access to research services, platform features, market analysis, trading signals, investment recommendations, model portfolio suggestions, reports, alerts, dashboards, and related informational services for the duration of the selected subscription plan.
The subscription fee is not charged for guaranteed investment returns, guaranteed profits, capital protection, trading performance, portfolio performance, or specific financial outcomes.
Subscription fees are not linked to recommendation accuracy, investment outcome, trading profit, portfolio return, or market performance.
3. Advance Fee and Regulatory Fee Compliance
Where applicable, subscription fees may be collected in advance only as permitted under applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations, circulars, and guidelines.
If agreed by the client, EqtPulse may collect subscription fees in advance, subject to the limits, conditions, and restrictions prescribed under applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations, RAASB requirements, circulars, and guidelines from time to time.
Advance fee collection, premature termination, refund treatment, and related subscription matters shall remain subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
For individual and HUF clients, advance fee collection and total fee charged shall remain subject to applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations, circulars, and regulatory limits, as amended from time to time.
EqtPulse shall not levy any breakage fee, exit penalty, cancellation penalty, or similar charge where such fee or charge is restricted under applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations, circulars, or guidelines.
4. General Refund Principle
Subscription fees paid by users are generally non-refundable except where expressly provided under this Policy or required under applicable law, SEBI regulations, RAASB guidelines, or any other regulatory direction.
No refund shall be granted merely because:
- the user suffers investment or trading losses;
- the user is dissatisfied with recommendation accuracy;
- the user is dissatisfied with model portfolio performance;
- the user disagrees with research rationale, signal timing, or market view;
- the user changes their mind after consuming research services, except where the user is otherwise eligible for a pro-rata refund for the unexpired subscription period under this Policy or applicable regulatory requirements;
- the user voluntarily does not use the platform during the active subscription period;
- the user’s financial circumstances change;
- market conditions become unfavourable;
- the user’s broker rejects, delays, or fails to execute an order;
- the user faces issues caused by their own device, internet connection, broker account, Demat account, trading platform, browser, or network.
Refund eligibility shall be assessed in accordance with this Policy, applicable regulatory requirements, and verification by EqtPulse.
5. Difference Between Cancellation, Refund Request, and Grievance
For clarity:
- Cancellation request means a request by the user to stop or terminate an active subscription.
- Refund request means a request by the user seeking return of the full or partial subscription amount paid.
- Grievance means a complaint relating to a service failure, billing issue, subscription access issue, platform-side error, non-delivery of subscribed service, or unresolved service matter.
Not every cancellation request will automatically result in a refund.
Not every refund request will be treated as a grievance.
Not every grievance will automatically result in a refund.
Refund eligibility shall depend on the facts of the case, unused subscription period, applicable law, regulatory requirements, service usage, payment status, and whether any breach or misuse has occurred.
6. Cancellation by User
A user may request cancellation of their subscription at any time through one of the following methods:
- self-service cancellation option on the EqtPulse platform, where available;
- written cancellation request sent to hello@eqtpulse.in;
- in-app support ticket or platform dashboard request, where available.
The cancellation request should include sufficient information to identify the user account, subscription plan, payment transaction, and reason for cancellation.
Cancellation shall be processed after EqtPulse verifies the request and confirms cancellation through email, platform notification, or any other official communication channel.
Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically waive dues, charges, obligations, liabilities, or restrictions already accrued before the cancellation date.
7. Pro-Rata Refund on Premature Cancellation
Where a user prematurely terminates a fixed subscription plan for which fees have been collected in advance, the user may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for the unexpired and unused portion of the subscription period, subject to applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations, circulars, guidelines, this Policy, and verification of eligibility.
The refund amount, where eligible, shall be determined based on the unused subscription period, applicable subscription terms, taxes, statutory deductions, payment gateway charges, banking charges, transaction charges, amounts already consumed for the active subscription period, and any other deductions permitted under applicable law.
The already consumed subscription period shall not be refundable.
8. Cases Where Pro-Rata Refund May Be Denied, Reduced, or Withheld
Pro-rata refund may be denied, reduced, or withheld only where permitted under applicable law and this Policy, including in the following cases:
- the user has breached the Terms & Conditions, user agreement, or platform rules;
- the user has provided false, incomplete, or misleading information;
- the user has misused the platform;
- the user has shared login credentials with another person;
- the user has redistributed, resold, copied, forwarded, published, or commercially exploited paid content;
- the user has engaged in scraping, unauthorised data extraction, reverse engineering, or misuse of proprietary content;
- the user has committed fraud, abuse, misconduct, or unlawful activity;
- the user has violated applicable law, SEBI regulations, exchange rules, broker terms, or platform policies;
- the refund request relates only to the already consumed subscription period;
- the refund request is based solely on trading losses, adverse market movement, or dissatisfaction with investment outcome;
- the refund request arises from user-side device, internet, browser, account, login, broker, Demat, or trading platform issues;
- the user has failed to provide required information for refund verification;
- the refund is restricted by applicable law, tax treatment, regulatory obligation, or dispute-related recordkeeping requirement.
9. Cancellation by EqtPulse
EqtPulse may suspend, restrict, or terminate a user’s access if:
- the user breaches the Terms & Conditions, user agreement, or platform rules;
- the user provides false, incomplete, or misleading information;
- the user misuses the platform;
- the user shares login credentials with another person;
- the user redistributes, resells, copies, forwards, publishes, or commercially exploits paid content;
- the user engages in scraping, unauthorised extraction, reverse engineering, or misuse of proprietary content;
- payment fails or remains unpaid;
- the user violates applicable law, SEBI regulations, exchange rules, broker terms, or platform policies;
- EqtPulse receives regulatory, legal, court, government, SEBI, RAASB, or exchange direction requiring suspension or termination;
- fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, or security risk is detected;
- continued access may expose EqtPulse, users, or the market ecosystem to legal, regulatory, operational, or security risk.
10. Refund on EqtPulse-Initiated Termination
If EqtPulse terminates access due to the user’s fraud, misconduct, misrepresentation, breach of confidentiality, unauthorised content sharing, credential sharing, misuse of the platform, or violation of platform terms, no refund shall be payable.
If EqtPulse terminates services for reasons not attributable to the user, EqtPulse may provide a pro-rata refund for the unused subscription period, subject to applicable law, regulatory requirements, and internal verification.
Where termination is required due to regulatory direction, legal restriction, market infrastructure restriction, or business discontinuation, refund treatment shall be governed by applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations, circulars, guidelines, this Policy, and any applicable regulatory direction.
11. Refund Due to Regulatory Suspension, Cancellation, or Business Discontinuation
If EquityPulse Tech Private Limited’s SEBI Research Analyst registration is suspended for a period exceeding sixty calendar days, or if the registration is cancelled, surrendered, or research services are discontinued for regulatory or business reasons, eligible users shall be entitled to a pro-rata refund of the subscription fee corresponding to the unexpired portion of the advance fee collected, subject to applicable law and regulatory requirements.
If EquityPulse Tech Private Limited ceases operations, winds up its research services business, or voluntarily discontinues EqtPulse research services, eligible users shall be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unexpired subscription period for which advance fees were collected, subject to applicable law, regulatory requirements, and verification.
Refunds under this section shall be limited to the unexpired and unused portion of the subscription period and shall not cover trading losses, investment losses, opportunity loss, notional loss, loss of profit, or any consequential loss.
12. No Secondary Fees
EqtPulse shall not charge individual or HUF users any secondary, ancillary, onboarding, registration, software development, breakage, exit penalty, cancellation penalty, or bundled fee where such fees are restricted under applicable SEBI Research Analyst regulations.
The subscription fee is the only fee payable for access to the selected research services, unless otherwise permitted under applicable law and clearly disclosed.
Applicable statutory charges, including GST, may be charged separately where applicable.
13. Payment Mode and Refund Method
Refunds, where approved, shall generally be processed through the original payment method used by the user.
Where refund to the original payment method is not possible, EqtPulse may request alternate bank account details or other permitted refund details from the user.
EqtPulse may require the user to provide correct and complete bank account details, account holder name, IFSC code, payment reference, transaction ID, or other information required to process the refund.
EqtPulse shall not be responsible for delay or failure caused by banks, payment gateways, payment processors, incorrect bank details, failed refund transactions, inactive payment instruments, or third-party payment systems.
14. Refund Processing Timeline
Eligible refunds shall be processed within 15 working days from the date of written confirmation of refund approval by EqtPulse.
The actual credit to the user’s bank account, card, UPI account, wallet, or payment instrument may take additional time depending on the bank, payment gateway, payment service provider, or payment method.
If additional information is required from the user to process the refund, the refund processing timeline may begin from the date on which complete and correct information is received by EqtPulse.
15. Taxes, Charges, and Deductions
Where applicable, refunds may be adjusted for:
- GST or statutory tax treatment;
- payment gateway charges;
- banking charges;
- transaction processing fees;
- charges already incurred by EqtPulse, where legally permissible;
- amounts already consumed for the active subscription period;
- any amount required to be deducted under applicable law;
- any unpaid dues payable by the user to EqtPulse.
Tax invoices, credit notes, accounting treatment, and statutory reporting shall be handled as per applicable tax laws.
16. Trial Plans, Promotional Plans, and Discounted Plans
If EqtPulse offers trial plans, discounted subscriptions, promotional offers, limited-period plans, bundled access, special pricing, or introductory plans, the refund terms for such plans may differ and shall be disclosed at the time of purchase.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, promotional, trial, limited-period, or discounted plans may be non-refundable, subject to applicable law and regulatory requirements.
No promotional offer, discount, rebate, incentive, gift, or limited-period pricing should be treated as assurance of investment returns, recommendation quality, or market performance.
17. Auto-Renewal Cancellation
Where auto-renewal is enabled, the user may disable auto-renewal before the next billing date through the platform, support channel, or any available cancellation mechanism.
Disabling auto-renewal prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for the current active subscription period.
If the user fails to cancel auto-renewal before the renewal date, the renewed subscription shall be governed by this Policy.
Where required under applicable law or platform policy, EqtPulse may provide renewal-related notices before charging renewal fees.
18. Platform Access After Cancellation
Upon cancellation, termination, or expiry of subscription:
- access to paid research services may be discontinued;
- access to premium reports, model portfolios, signals, alerts, dashboards, and recommendation history may be restricted;
- future alerts, reports, or research updates may stop;
- user access to certain account records may be limited;
- EqtPulse may retain user records as required under law, regulatory obligations, audit requirements, tax obligations, compliance requirements, dispute-resolution needs, and SEBI-related recordkeeping requirements.
Cancellation or expiry of subscription shall not affect obligations relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, prohibited use, payment dues, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, or regulatory recordkeeping.
19. Service Grievances and Refund Requests
Valid service grievances may include:
- subscription billing errors;
- duplicate payment;
- incorrect fee deduction;
- payment credited but access not activated;
- platform-side login failure;
- research report or recommendation delivery failure caused by a demonstrable platform-side system error;
- material dashboard mismatch caused by EqtPulse platform error;
- non-receipt of subscribed research content due to EqtPulse-side delivery failure;

The following shall not be treated as valid refund-related service grievances merely because the user suffered a loss or did not achieve the expected outcome:
- investment losses;

- dissatisfaction with returns;
- dissatisfaction with recommendation performance;
- disagreement with research methodology;
- market volatility;
- adverse market movement;
- broker-side execution issue;

EqtPulse may, at its sole discretion, grant a full or partial refund in exceptional circumstances, provided such refund is not inconsistent with applicable law, SEBI Research Analyst regulations, circulars, guidelines, or regulatory directions.
Granting a discretionary refund once shall not create a right, precedent, expectation, or obligation to grant similar refunds in the future.
EqtPulse is not obligated to provide reasons for accepting or rejecting discretionary refund requests, except where required by applicable law or regulatory direction.
23. Investor Grievance Escalation
Users should first raise refund-related, billing-related, subscription-related, or service-related grievances with EqtPulse by writing to:
